OTTOMAN TURKEY, CIRCA 1580
With sloping rim on short foot, the white interior painted in blue, green, black and red with a central tuft issuing large finely painted saz leaf, tulips, roses and other flowers, the border with stylized wave and rock motives, the exterior with alternating paired tulip and flowerhead motif in blue and green, rim and foot drilled, very slight chips to rim, one large crack, repaired with no repainting
