With rounded edge on short foot, the white interior painted with five rows of sailing vessels with blue striped sails, various green and red motifs scattered in the sea, with thin border of black spirals, the exterior with alternating blue spiral and trefoil motif, rim fritted, glaze surface slightly pitted, foot drilled

For two other vessels in this sale please see a mug with similar ships (lot 31), and a dish with a square-rigged ship, lot 32. The filler elements on this dish bear a very strong resemblance to those on the group of vessels crowded with animals, leading to an obvious question whether both were produced in the same workshop.
