THIS CELLAR REPRESENTS A ROLL CALL OF THE WHO'S WHO OF CALIFORNIAN CABERNET FROM WHAT IS EASILY THE BENCHMARK VINTAGE, 1994. FROM ARAUJO TO VON STRASSER, THEY ARE ALL HERE, ALL PURCHASED UPON RELEASE AND ALL IN PRIME CONDITION.

Rarely do cellars such as this come to market. An almost unique collection of great wines from the 1994 vintage, purchased to celebrate the birth of their son.
These wines were all purchased on release and have not moved since the day the were laid to rest in the cellar. The cellar itself, has, over the years been a labour of love. Tucked under the house and literally crammed full, the time had definitely come for a clear out. The conditions are superb, humidity and temperature controlled, with power back-up in case of blackouts.
Having consumed many wines from this cellar, I can safely attest to the outstanding condition of the wines, many far less advanced than other examples I have had. With a weak dollar and the rising prices of current vintages, this is the perfect opportunity to stock up, the provenance is unmatched.
We are proud and honored that a cellar such as this, from such a kind and generous individual should kick off the return of Saturday sales at Christie's in New York.
