Deep dark red colour. Huge nose; aromas of dense extracted currants. Fantastic mouthfeel; very rich, loaded with tannin, yet equalled by lovely silken ripe red fruit; layered and complex. Showing a lot of class, very well made. Needs time, 5 - 10 years and then should be good for another 20. ***(*1/2) Oct. 2002 DW
