The 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon (2 Cabernet Franc is blended in) has filled out nicely since I first tasted it. Aromas of cedar, chocolate, spice box, and black currants are moderately intense. Medium to full-bodied, with good spice, in addition to excellent richness, symmetry, and harmony, this is an intense yet stylish Cabernet Sauvignon to drink now and over the next 16+ years.
