FIRST REPRINT OF THE FIRST FOLIO EDITION. École de Cavalerie first appeared in 16° format in 1729-31, and was first published as a folio two years later. Mennessier de la Lange described the 1733 folio, of which the present edition is a reprint, as 'un des plus beaux ouvrages qui aient paru en France sur le cheval'.
