Details
PERU -- an album of Prints, published by Richard Phillips, 1805. 20 numbered hand-coloured stipple engravings depicting Peruvian society (some light soiling, a little heavier on the first plate, a few plates reinforced at margin). Later half-backed cloth (spine detached from text block, worn). Plates include depictions of an Indian warrior, a Civilised Indian wearing the Poncho and Fighter at a Bull Feast among others.
