A rare two-page autograph letter, signed, from Madonna to director Abel Ferrara regarding her film Dangerous Game, [n.d.but 1993] the letter written in black felt pen opening with a chastising tone: ...Hello O Turbulent One! I'm in L.A. rehearsing my ass off but don't think you're off the hook... telling him that MGM & CAA had seen the film ...and were all quite disturbed by it. Most didn't like it one single bit. But that's probably a good sign.. but revealing her frustration with Ferrara's single-minded method of working ...The opinions I care about are the one's from people I respect a great deal like Alex Keshishian...After Alex saw the movie he made some notes for me. I asked him to be brutally honest...I know you respect his work in "Truth or Dare"...Try to be open minded as you read [his notes]. I know how difficult that is for you and I know you will shriek at everyone of his points and then throw them in the garbage... ending with a heart-felt plea ...This could be a great movie. If you commit yourself to making it great and you don't shut out other people [sic] input.. signing off ..all my love & frustration Madonna, 2pp. (2)
