Two pages taken from an art school sketch books circa 1960, one a life study depicting the backview of a naked model in black and blue ink, and the other an abstract study in blue ink and wash, inscribed by the artist bottom left tree motif, play of light between branches, both -- 7x4.5in. (17.8x11.4cm); a clipped signature in blue ink Stuart Sutcliffe -- 2x4½in. (5x11.4cm.); and a black and white portrait photograph of subject circa 1960 [printed later] -- 11x8.5in. (27.9x21.6cm.) (4)
