Following his involvement in the Great War, Louis Neillot exhibited from 1920 onwards in all of the major art centres of the world including Paris, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. He was a key figure in the Exhibitions of Modern Artists held at the Petit Palais and was vice-President of the Salons des Indépendants. His work is mainly divided between the landscapes of Bourbon and naturalistic scenes.
