The ivory field with a pictorial scene depicting Bahram Gur on horseback standing before a shepherd with his flock grazing in the background beside a river, a date and inscription cartouche at the lower end, in an indigo flowering border with ivory inscription cartouche panels between light brown calligraphic stripes and narrow reciprocal skittle-pattern minor stripes, overall excellent condition
