The blackcurrant-red field of each with a counterposed design of palmettes, feathery leaves and flowering vine around figures of leaping deer and birds, in a steel-blue palmette and floral arabesque border with perching birds between apricot cloudband and flowering vine stripes, selvages slightly frayed, minor loss to outer stripe at each end on both, otherwise good condition
