The shaded rust-red field with angular palmette vine issuing from a central indigo stepped medallion containing bold polychrome palmettes enclosing a central lozenge medallion and an ivory flowerhead, an indigo palmette pendant above and below, the stepped part ivory, rust-red and indigo spandrels similar, in a shaded indigo turtle-palmette and angular vine border between brick-red leafy vine stripes, localised areas of wear, minor spot surface stains, each end missing outer minor stripe and with new applied fringes
