Finely painted in deep cobalt blue with two continuous garden scenes, the lower one depicting an equestrian soldier dismounted from his horse and meeting an elderly gentleman while surrounded by numerous attendants, the upper scene showing several reclining scholars, the waisted neck with stylised tulips between jewels, neck restored, firing cracks to the base
