Three 'Brinjal' bowls and a famille verte jar
Kangxi, the jar 19th century
An aubergine, yellow and green ground bowl, the rounded sides with flaring rim, incised and painted with three tuffs of peony, lotus and lingzhi, damaged and restored, 19 cm. diam.; and a hexagonal cylindrical jar, enamelled two each side with a figure scene, associated gilt wood cover, 16 cm. high (4)
