Cal. RA 19 nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, the cream agate dial with applied black enamel Arabic numerals, fancy black enamel and pavé diamond-set hands, the octagonal-shaped case with vari-coloured mother-of-pearl floral decorated panels, alternating with engraved silver gilt tear-drop decorated sections to the corners, black enamel bezel with diamond-set corners, the silver and black enamel back secured by four screws, all on an oval lapis lazuli foot, rectangular-shaped black onyx base with silver gilt tear-drop and inlaid vari-coloured mother-of-pearl floral decoration, winder in the base, movement signed Vacheron & Constantin, case stamped VF for Verger Frères and signed Gübelin Lucerne

According to the records of Vacheron Constantin, the present desk clock was made with a eight days movement in 1920.
