Accompanied by Jules Jürgensen original certificate no. 14731 dated April 1887, original fitted rosewood presentation box and short length of pink gold chain. Furthermore delivered with a copy of the original worksheet confirming total cost of SFr. 1,167.95. The case was originally made with the engraved initials G.R.W. which have been removed to a later date.
According to the records of the Musée de l'Horlogerie du Locle, the present watch is part of a series of only six examples of this type manufactured by Jürgensen between 1887 and 1888, all cased differently. Its ébauche was made by the renowned Piguet Frères.
