Of deep rounded form with flaring mouth on short foot, the exterior engraved with a band of continuous interlaced arabesques, meandering floral interlace bands above and below, a band of continuous nasta'liq inscription around the mouth interrupted at one pouint with a small cartouche giving the name of the owner, arcading around the foot

The inscription contains the call to God to bless the Fourteen Innocents. There is also a date which reads sana (the year) 821 which cannnot be right. It could possibly be 1082 (1671-2 AD). The owner's name of 'Ali is given in the form: darad omid-e shifa'at ze muhammad 'Ali ('Ali has hopes of intercession from Muhammad).
