Of baluster form, mounted in the Art Nouveau taste, the neck and reservoir edged by a Vitruvian band flanked by upright cartouche and scroll handles, the rocaille-moulded base supported front and back by dolphin mask feet

Lot Essay

Hermann August Seeger (1839-93) was a chemist at the Berlin factory (1878-90) working to enlarge the palette of colours available and experimenting with varied ranges of firing temperatures and new glaing techniques.
