Each painted within a gilt wreath with a flower specimen named on the underside Pervenche à grandes fleurs. and Mirabilis Ialappa (Vulg: Belle-de-Nuit)., the faux lapis border gilt with bands of scallops and with pendent flowers, gilt line rim

The present two plates are from a set of seventy-two made for a service ordered 6 November 1834 and delivered to Ferdinand II, King of Naples and the Two Sicilies on 10 February 1836.
