Late 19th century, spurious blue interlaced L's mark
Painted after Mme Vigée LeBrun with a portrait of Marie Antoinette and her three children titled at the bottom, reserved within a gilt chased wreath on the pink ground, the border similarly painted and reserved with four oval panels of battle scenes from the life of Louis XVI named and attributed to the original painter on whose work they are based, an interlaced L's within a crowned wreath gilt on the pink ground between each panel
