The clockcase of architectural form surmounted by a small baluster vase, the polychrome 'jewelled' dial painted with putti in flight above a musical trophy, the front painted with an amorous couple in a wooded landscape, flanked by four columns gilt with laurel leaves on rectangular 'jewelled' supports, the base cast with a foliate rinceau and pendant garlands; the two six-light candelabra with 'jewelled' nozzles and drip-pans, each oviform body painted with a 'jewelled' cartouche of Cupid and a scantily draped maiden, flanked by ram's head handles, the reverse with an oval landscape, on a conforming cylindrical stand and square base, all on toupie feet
