An assembled Louis XVI style ormolu and bleu turquin marble three-piece garniture de cheminee
Late 19th Century
Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of five-light candelabra: the architectural clockcase surmounted by an urn and applied with scrolling foliage, the enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic chapters and twin-barrel movement, flanked on either side by figures of Hercules and Omphale, on a conforming base and toupie feet; the candelabra en suite, modelled with urns issuing scrolling candlearms, supported on ram's-head monopodiae
The clock: 23 in. (58.5 cm.) high; 15 in. (38.1 cm.) wide; The candelabra: 25½ in. (64.8 cm.) high (3)
