A Louis XVI style ormolu-mounted mahogany bureau plat
Probably English and possibly retailed by Wright and Mansfield, London, Third quarter 19th Century
The eared rectangular gilt-tooled brown leather-lined top above a central frieze drawer flanked on either side by two smaller drawers, with winged putto handles, the reverse with similar apparent drawers, the sides with pull-out slides above a foliate mount, on fluted tapering legs headed by spiral reeds and quiver capitals, on toupie feet
31 in. (78.7 cm.) high; 66½ in. (165 cm.) wide; 34½ in. (87.5 cm.) deep
