The cobalt-blue frame with applied acanthus leaves, surmounted by an Apollo mask and suspending a garland, the circular dial with Arabic chapters, glazed centre, and twin-barrel movement, the sunburst pendulum incised Obtulit Colonia Agripina, on an oval foliate-cast base, the porcelain with spurious interlaced 'L's for Sèvres and inscised sevres
