Date cypher for 1864, impressed uppercase and various marks, the movement stamped M 173/4/11, shape no. 1063, after the model by E. Jeannest
Modelled as a semi-clad classical maiden, standing with her right hand raised in a gesture of listening, an attending putto at her side, the oval mound base applied with foliage, the fluted plinth set with a circular clock drum, flanked by young mermen suspending ribbon tied garlands above four scroll feet, the central foot moulded with a scallop shell and bulrushes
