In the Japonisme aesthetic, enamelled allover with a navy-blue rectangular pattern with a red and yellow circle at each corner, the center with a circular grey panel with white stylized flowers and black characters, overlapped by a fan-shaped cartouche with a bird on a blossoming branch, a rectangular cartouche with canted corners depicting pink lilies on a yellow ground, and a red circular scalloped cartouche painted with stylized white lotuses
