With astragal-glazed trunk door, the dial with silvered chapter ring with applied numerals, matted centre with subsidiary seconds, with chime/silent and Whittington/Westminster selection rings above, the substantial three-train weight-driven eight day movement with anchor escapement, quarter-chiming on eight tubular bells and with hour strike on further tubular bell -- 92¾ in. (235.5 cm.) high
