Mark of Gerrit Valck, Amsterdam, 1629, also struck with later Dutch duty mark of 1795 for Dordrecht
On plain shaped hexafoil footrim, the moulded lobed base chased and embossed with flowers, openwork C-scroll stem with bell-shaped tassels and dragon terminals supporting the lobed hexafoil bowl chased and embossed with fruits and flowers, the centre with snail finial, later gilding, marked on side of dish
