"Second edition" according to the title-page but in fact the third, following the editions of 1693 and 1694. A5 contains the text of "Shinken's song to the Harp: in Act IV". Shinken, having had his heart "wounded past all curing", is incapable of action, despite having been one of "the prettiest fellows/At Bandy once and cricket, At hunting-chace, or light-foot race, Gadsplut, how he could prick it". cf.
