London: for the proprietors, and sold by J. Wheble [and others], 1792-1797. 29 monthly issues or part issues only in 3 vols., including several duplicates, 8vo. (8¾ x 5½in; 227 x 133mm. and slightly smaller), engraved plates (some plates lacking, occasional tears), uniform early 20th-century green cloth, spines gilt lettered, two vols. uncut. Provenance: J.W. Goldman (bookplate).

Dated as follows: I. November-December 1792; May-September 1794; October 1795. II. May-October 1793; May-September 1794. III. June-October 1796; May-June, August-October 1797. The June 1793 issue includes: "The Laws of cricket as revised by the Cricket Club at St. Mary-le-Bone" (pp. 134-136). All the issues contain scores of grand matches, and an engraving of the "Grand Cricket Match played in Lord's Ground ...
