The "Cricket Song. For the Hambledon Club, Hants, 1767" [by the Rev. Reynell Cotton] is included on pp. 131-33. This was first published in the Canterbury Journal, October 1773, and had earlier appeared, with alterations in favour of Kent, in the Kentish Gazette of August 1772. Goldman p. 204: "very rare"; Padwick 6390. Together with Thomas Smth's poem, The Cricket Match (1859), in green boards, the wrappers preserved. (2)
