London: Baily Brothers, 1850. 4to. (9½ x 7¼in.; 245 x 185mm), hand-coloured lithographic frontispiece, 6 hand-coloured and 3 uncoloured plates, printed by M. and N. Hanhart, wood-engraved vignettes (spotting and some marginal soiling to plates, frontispiece offset, adhesive tape repairs at inner margins, pp. 24-25 ink stained), original blind-stamped green cloth, gilt edges (slightly discoloured, spine rubbed, front inner hinges repaired with tape, stitching weak). Provenance: pencil annotations on pp. 9-10 -- [J. Phillipps, Worthing (bookseller's label)].
