(81/2 x 63/4in.; 21.5 x 17cm), hand-coloured lithographic frontispiece and 6 hand-coloured plates, original blind-stamped green cloth by Westleys with gilt vignette on upper cover, gilt edges, binder's ticket preserved at rear. Provenance: E.J. Davis (ownership inscription on front free endpaper) -- J.W. Goldman (pasted-over bookplate).
FINE COPY of the third edition which was slightly reduced in size and did not include the three uncoloured plates. The name of the lithographic printer does not appear on the plates. Allen 50; Goldman p. 88; Taylor p. 44; Padwick 397.
