ART NOUVEAU AND ART DECO - PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE EUROPEAN COLLECTION AT 1.00PM 26 APRIL 2005 This sale incorporates nearly 150 lots of Art Nouveau and Art Deco cameo glass and sculpture from a private collection amassed during the 1980s and 1990s, mainly from the major London and New York auction rooms. Lots 1-78 represent a fine and carefully chosen group of cameo glass, from the early enamelled glass of Joseph Brocard (Lot 1) and Emile Gallé (Lots 2-8) through the floral, naturalistic and landscape designs turn-of-the-century designs of Gallé, Daum Frères and Muller Freères (Lots 11-12, 15-69) to the abstract pate-de-verre of Gabriel Argy-Rousseau (Lot 71).
