Lots 1-78 represent a fine and carefully chosen group of cameo glass, from the early enamelled glass of Joseph Brocard (Lot 1) and Emile Gallé (Lots 2-8) through the floral, naturalistic and landscape designs turn-of-the-century designs of Gallé, Daum Frères and Muller Freères (Lots 11-12, 15-69) to the abstract pate-de-verre of Gabriel Argy-Rousseau (Lot 71). The sculpture section (Lots 79-146) spans the Art Nouveau bronze busts of Emmanuele Villanis (Lots 80-85) and Maurice Bouval (Lot 94) through the cold-painted bronzework of Lorenzl (Lots 96, 98, 99, 104) and Bruno Zach (Lots 111-113, 122 and 145) to the seminal chryselaphantine figures of Claire Jeanne Roberte Colinet (Lots 120, 122, 123) and Ferdinand Preiss (Lots 128, 130, 137, 138) and D.H.Chiparus (Lots 131-133, 136, 139-140, 142-144).
