The full take-down action with sprung release-latch and turn-off barrel, chequered rotating safety, the sides of the action-body gold encrusted depicting a red stag and roe buck enclosed in ornate gold-inlaid borders, signed 'Severing', highly figured stock with pistolgrip, pistolgrip-cap, cheek-piece and leather-covered recoil-pad, sling-swivels, highly figured forend, each barrel with matt sight-rib, open-sights and ramp-mounted bead-foresight with folding moon-sight, both barrels mounted with a Zeiss 3-9x36 'Diavari-C' telescopic-sights in quickly-detachable mounts

The makers have kindly confirmed that the rifle was completed in 1991. This rifle is of very fine quality and appears to have had very little use. The decoration of the action-body was commissioned at a later date by the owner.
