Lot Essay

The makers have kindly confirmed that the guns were completed in 1912 and that the No. 1 gun had new barrels fitted in 1969, the No. 2 gun had new barrels fitted in 1957 and the stock was lengthened to 15¼in. The No. 2 gun requires rejointing.
