Of cylindrical form, the interior cover with silver roundel inscribed in Arabic, He Who Opens the Doors, dated 1131 -- 3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) high; a silver necklace with four cylindrical document holders, one with lines of calligraphy -- 3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) long max; and nine calligraphic instruments, comprising two knives with horn handles, one knife with bone handle, one ivory pen rest (makta), one pair of scissors, a gilt metal book mark with with tughra marks, an ivory and shagreen pen rest, and a long wood and silver pen holder in two sections -- 14½in.
