A SAFAVID TINNED COPPER BOWL, IRAN, SECOND HALF 17TH OR EARLY 18TH CENTURY
Of rounded form with vertical mouth, the sides engraved with an overall arabesque lattice, a band of inscription cartouches around the rim -- 13¾in. (35cm.) diam.
Provenance
From the collection of the present owner's grandmother, probably purchased circa 1920.
