Dance, printed in brown on toned paper, 631 engraved plates and plans (3 folding) after Paul Sandby, Valentine Green, Lysons and others, 1 folding engraved map hand-coloured in outline, 53 half-page engraved county maps (48 hand-coloured in outline) (some browning and spotting, occasionally heavy, the folding map incorrectly bound in so that it will not unfold), contemporary calf in the style of Edwards of Halifax, decorated in the 'Etruscan' style, covers with gilt outer Greek-key roll enclosing a stained border of classical palmettes with double-fillet and small palmette roll all in gilt, the central speckled panel with central oval stencilled sunburst panel around small stained tool of a pendant suspended from a ribbon, gilt spines repeating the same motifs, gilt turn-ins, purple-stained endpapers, gilt edges (extremities slightly scufffed).
