The panel is inlaid at the centre with a carved and gilt-decorated double-gourd growing on leafy branches attached to two smaller double-gourds of carved white jade, dividing two sets of inscribed poems in lishu, clerical script, all below the two-character title, Yuzhi, 'By Imperial Command', all within a raised bamboo-veneered border decorated with double-gourds rendered in yellow lacquer and leafy vines detailed with silver wire inlay, attached with a metal bracket for suspension
