A LARGE SPINACH-GREEN JADE TRIPOD CENSER AND COVER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The shallow censer with flaring sides and a pair of upright S-shaped handles, all raised on three tapered legs, well carved around the sides of the censer and domed cover with a band enclosing six sets of flanges dividing taotie masks and archaistic scrollwork, the openwork finial on the cover depicting a coiled dragon amidst clouds, the semi-translucent stone of mottled spinach-green tones with a few black inclusions
