A FINELY CARVED 'ODE TO THE RED CLIFF' BAMBOO BRUSHPOT

The exterior delicately carved in shallow relief to depict a continuous river landscape scene with three men seated in a boat, steered by an oarsman at aft, all with their heads turned to watch a waterfall in the distance, the water cascading between rocky crevices before emptying into the river, inscribed on one cliff face with four characters, Wu Zhifan zhi, 'Made by Wu Zhifan', the cylindrical pot raised on three shallow tab feet, age hairlines
