Each finely carved working the overall design into the natural inclusions of the material: the first modelled as Liuhai holding a three-legged toad in one hand and the other holding a long string suspending cash over his shoulder; the second carved as a young boy holding a flowering prunus branch attached to a pair of shoes, borne over one shoulder; and the third, another young boy playfully modelled with one leg raised holding a long lotus leaf stem over one shoulder
