The convex centre carved with a scaly, five-clawed descending dragon amidst clouds within a frieze of lotus scroll in the well, covered overall with a glaze of sea-green tone continuing over the shallow foot onto the base, reserving an unglazed ring encircling the concave centre, the biscuit burnt orange in the firing
