With very decorative gilt, blued and polished steel movement, cylinder escapement, plain three arm balance, decoratively engraved winding barrel, two polished steel hammers quarter repeating on two highly decorative snake-like blued steel gongs, glazed under cuvette, the outer timing dial is silvered and engine-turned with sector indicating the 60 minutes, a silvered disc indicating each wandering hour above a blue background, the inner gold dial accented by a wonderful
four-coloured gold (yellow, pink, white and green) raised classical scene, the case engine-turned with the back in sunburst decoration, small oval cartouche with engraved inscription at six, quarter repeating mechanism activated by pressing the pendant, dial signed, case stamped
60 mm. diam.
