With gilt-finished cylinder movement, ruby endstone, plain three arm balance, gold cuvette, the small white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands, concealed beneath the hinged brown and tan enamelled shell of the tortoise-form case, opening when the button in the tortoise's mouth is pressed, the head with ruby-set eyes, textured feet and underside, with engraved pendant, unsigned, cuvette numbered
