Each with a shepherd and shepherdess before a tree on rocky ground applied with leaves and flowers, one in the manner of the Holy Family with the barefoot peasant girl offering her equally unshod seated suitor a flower, an infant at their feet; the other with a barefoot peasant girl seated with a large basket of flowers at her feet, her suitor in a puce trefoil-decorated suit and black brimmed hat at the right
