Woven in silks and sools, depciting La Foire, with a maiden buying a bird from an elder, the foreground with a kneeling man with two birds on a cage and to the right with figures with parasols, the background with tents, further cages and palm trees, within a floral C-scroll border with floral clasps to the angles, within a later brown guard border, reduced in height to the bottom of the main field, some restored cuts, re-weaving and patching
