An Edwardian silver-gilt pommander
of moulded circular form, on a rising circular foot and with a foliate rim and domed hinged cover with stylised artichoke finial, the body and cover each chased with flowering prunus and birds, the interior cover finely-pierced with foliage and with a ball knob, Nathan & Hayes, Chester 1908 - 3½in. (9cm.), 6.25oz.
